Goldfish Game is an intimate portrait of a group of people who, of necessity, cannot be themselves. It is an existential drama without heroes, whose ending brings no solutions. A real slow motion Mexican stand-off in which everyone is threatened by themselves and by others, so that no one can move anymore and has to give up their personal freedom. Entangled in conflicts and intrigues that accumulate and are unavoidable, they increasingly distance themselves from who they really are.
Goldfish Game is the story of little people who want to do big things. And a story about jealousy and deceit, about power and acquiescence, about commitment and cynicism, about death and survival in a world where happiness is an outdated notion.
